BP-ER is a compact emergency food that is characterised by a very long shelf life, a high nutritional value and a comparatively small volume. It has been used for many years by governments, the military, special units, special forces, etc., and is primarily used for emergency stockpiling worldwide.

BP-ER has high nutritional values, one pack of 500g corresponds to 2,375 kcal. BP-ER is completely vegetarian and free from genetically modified ingredients. It tastes slightly sweet, is ready-to-eat and can be eaten straight from the pack or made into a porridge with boiling water.

The 12 kg BP-ER carton consists of 24 ration packs of 500 g each. Each ration pack contains 9 individual packs with 2 bars each. The 500 g unit is also vacuum-sealed to make it gas- and watertight. A water-repellent carton protects this unit. Production is monitored by the Norwegian Ministry of Health.
